I am getting a 500 internal server error when using IIS and Windows.

Answer:

If you are hosting on a Windows machine using IIS, and you receive this error (500 internal server error), please try the following to fix the problem.

This error is not really a bug in Logaholic, more a bug in the combination of some version of Windows with IIS and PHP.

The exact cause is unknown, although we are still looking into it.

In serveral cases, we managed to solve the problem by doing one or more of the following:

- Delete the logaholic files from the server and Upload them again as BINARY

- Give each and every file and folder in the logaholic directory read/write/execute permissions for ALL users

- Edit PHP.ini and set: cgi.fix_pathinfo=1

If you come across a different solution, please let us know!

 Thanks.
