Is it possible to get a full list (e.g. excel export) of all visitors and their visits in a specific date range?

We want to build a detailed history of all visitors and their visits within a certain date range. And we are facing some constraints which makes it impossible to accomplish our goal. The click trail report only allows to display one visitor and its visits at a time. This makes it hard for us, to analyse all the user data at once. Is there a way to get a full list (e.g. excel export) of all visitors and their visits in a specific daterange? This would allow us to create the further reports by our own. Thanks for your help

Answer:

We don't have anything like this by default, but where there is a will there is a way :) What exactly do you want to see? A table with something like: Visitorid_1; 5 visits; 20 pageviews Visitorid_2; 100 visits; 300 pageviews etc etc Let me know what you want exactly, or send me an example of what you want it to look like in excel, and I'll have a look and might be able to tell you how you can rip this out of the system.
Thanks for your quick answer. What we want to see, is a report like the one of click trails, but with all visitor and their visits in one list for a given date range. We are trying to track the visitor, if he changes the browser on the same system. Therefore we need the IP, Browser and Location. Or is there a way to identify the user omitting the brwoser? We are looking for something like that. Sorry for the bad format. I hope it is clear to you anyway. hi, i am still waiting for an answer. Or should i open a new question? Thanks for the help. Best regards
Hi, Sorry for the delay. I was thinking about coding a cusom report for you or showing you how to do that yourself, but I think we've overlooked the simple solution. If you go into Edit Profile, on the Advanced tab you can change the visitor identification method. If you set that to IP only, your visitors will be identified just by the ip address and so you will see all activity for that IP in the Clicktrails report, regardless of browser. This will only work for new traffic once you change that setting and you won't really see the change in browser used, but I'm hoping you are more interested in the complete click activity than the browser change. I hope this helps! Michael
