Setting Automatic updates via WGET when Logaholic Security set?

Hello Support,

Recently I tried to set auto updating using WGET. When I saw nothing updated I looked at the log I generated and within was text asking for user/pass for the protected Logaholic website.

Is there a way to pass creds using WGET when Logaholic authentication is set for "Use Logaholic login dialog"?

sample from log:

<body onload='finishpage();'>
<div id="loginform"><h2>Logaholic Web Analytics</h2>
                    <form method="POST">
                    <table  border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3">
                    <tr><td>Username:</td><td><input type="text" name="login_user" maxlength="100" value=""></td><td></td></tr>
                    <tr><td>Password:</td><td><input type="password" name="login_pass" maxlength="100" value=""></td><td></td></tr>
                    <tr><td colspan="2" align="left"><input type="checkbox" name="login_remember" checked>
                    <font size="2">Remember Me Next Time &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
                    <input type="hidden" name="sublogin" value="1">
                    <input type="submit" value="Login"></td></tr>
                    </table>
                    </form>
                    <p><a class="smalllinks2" href="user_login/forgotpass.php">Forgot Password ?</a></p>
                    </div>

Thanks!

Answer:

Hi John, Yes, you can pass authentication in; please read this manual entry: http://www.logaholic.com/manual/LogaholicManual/AllowingUsersToLoginAutomaticallyFromOtherSystems
The information on this page relates to older Logaholic versions (prior to Logaholic 6) and may be outdated.
