Setting Advanced Options
The Advanced tab of Profile Configuration includes several additional settings to further customize how your web analysis reporting. These include enabling or disabling report caching, adjusting any time zone difference between your web server and the server on which Logaholic is installed, and setting the inactivity timeout for visitors to your Logaholic analytics pages.

Animate Flash Graphs:
By default, Logaholic displays animated graphic effects in the flash bar and pie charts. If you prefer to disable the animation, you can turn this setting “Off.”
Reporting Time zone
The Default Local Time Zone shown in reports is the system time of the server on which Logaholic is installed, which may not necessarily be the same Time Zone where your website is hosted. If you prefer that your reports use a different Time Zone, such as the one on your hosing server, you may select it here.
Time zone Correction
If your source data (collected from either your server log or the Javascript tracker) is recorded in a different Time Zone than the one you selected in “Reporting Time zone” above, your statistics may seem “off” by a few hours. If you wish to correct this, enter the number of hours difference between your selected Time Zone and the Time Zone used where your logs are collected (example: -5 hours difference, enter -5).
Time Format Display. Visit Timeout:
Enter the number of minutes before a visitor “session” or “visit” to your Logaholic Analytics web pages times out. For example, enter 20, if you want the visit terminated after 20 minutes of inactivity from the visitor.
Unique Visitor / ID Method
This setting determines how Logaholic will identify a unique visitor. More information on these identification methods can be found in this reference article.
There is a great deal of debate about the ideal method of tracking Unique Visitors, and many articles have been published discussing the advantages and disadvantages of different methods. It is beyond the scope of this manual to determine which method is best for your situation. However, the information below briefly explains these various methods and how they work.
Exit Click Tracking:
The Exit Clicks Expansion enables Logaholic to track exit clicks (links from your website to other, external domains).
Installation instructions:
1. Copy the javascript code from the screen.
2. Place this code snippet anywhere on every page for which you wish to track its Exit clicks on your website. If you have a header or footer file that is included in each page on your site, you only need to put the tracker code in one of those.
