Creating a URL based split test
With the URL split test you are trying to compare two pages on your site and see if one of them draws more traffic to a third page than the other. This test allows you to discover inconsistencies in your site links and content, for instance, if you have one target page with a product to download, and two paths through which users can reach that page. If you run a URL split test for both pages where visitors start off their visit on your site and see which one leads to the most conversions on the target page, you might realize that one of the paths is underperforming and eliminate some pages from it.
Just like with the PHP tests, one or more of the URL based tests you compiled will be displayed in a row on the left side of your test centre window. This is where you will go back to retrieve them and run the tests to get the results.
In this case the results of your test will also be linked to the conversion rate. Here is a screenshot of how your test results will look like after you run a URL split test:
